Carrier Continues to Invest in Energy Efficient Aircraft

Fourth Order Takes Total Firm Order to 50

Riga, Latvia – August 13, 2024 – AirBaltic Corp AS has confirmed an incremental order for an additional 10 A220-300 aircraft. This new and fourth reorder will take the airlines total firm order to 50.

The A220-300 is a state-of-the-art, single-aisle aircraft that offers superior fuel efficiency and reduced emissions compared to older generation aircraft. The aircraft is manufactured by Airbus SE, with the wings being produced in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The A220-300 has a capacity of up to 150 passengers and a range of up to 3,400 nautical miles, making it ideal for both short- and medium-haul routes. The aircraft is also equipped with a variety of amenities, including comfortable seating, in-flight entertainment, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
