Carry-on Luggage and Checked Baggage Fees
When traveling with Canada Jetlines, it's important to be aware of the baggage fees associated with your flight. The number of bags you can check in may vary depending on the fare you purchase and your status as a member of the Jetlines Rewards program.
Carry-on Luggage
All passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item free of charge. The carry-on bag must not exceed 22" x 14" x 9" (56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm) in size, including handles and wheels. The personal item must not exceed 16" x 12" x 6" (40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm) in size.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage fees vary depending on the fare you purchase and the weight of your bag. The standard checked baggage fee for a bag weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) is $35. For bags weighing between 51 and 70 lbs (23 and 32 kg), the fee is $50. Bags weighing over 70 lbs (32 kg) will not be accepted.
Members of the Jetlines Rewards program receive a discount on checked baggage fees. Silver members receive a 20% discount, Gold members receive a 30% discount, and Platinum members receive a 40% discount.
Additional Baggage Fees
In addition to the standard checked baggage fees, there are also additional fees for oversized or overweight bags. Oversized bags are defined as bags that exceed 62" (157 cm) in length + width + height. Overweight bags are defined as bags that weigh over 70 lbs (32 kg).
The fee for an oversized bag is $75. The fee for an overweight bag is $100.
